Tools for Engaging Landowners in Conservation

In December, Highstead staff helped launch a pan-New England landowner outreach effort with a training workshop for land trusts and state foresters at Harvard Forest. This 3-year initiative is funded with a $450,000 US Forest Service grant to the North East State Foresters Association. At the workshop, the Sustaining Family Forests Initiative (SFFI) presented tools for engaging landowners effectively.
